Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cashlog website, mobile experience and concierge services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Cashlog Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Kenya.

By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Nature of the Service

Cashlog is a concierge service. We are not a licensed lender. Loans are originated, underwritten, disbursed and serviced by our regulated micro-finance partner ("Partner Lender"). The loan agreement, when executed, is between you and the Partner Lender, not us.

We perform pre-screening, document collection, application coordination, valuation scheduling and customer support on behalf of (and with the consent of) our Partner Lender, with the goal of getting cash into your account in about 2 hours.

3. Your obligations

• You must be 21 years or older and a citizen or lawful resident of Kenya.
• All information you submit must be true, accurate and current.
• You must own (solely or jointly) the vehicle whose logbook you offer as security.
• You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

4. Fees

We do not charge customers a separate fee. Our Partner Lender charges a single 5% one-time fee on the loan principal, which covers processing, vehicle valuation, NTSA joint registration and GPS tracker installation. This fee is added to the loan principal and amortised across the repayment schedule. It is never deducted from your disbursement.

5. Acceptance and disbursement

An indicative offer is not a binding loan offer. A binding offer is issued by the Partner Lender only after vehicle valuation and final underwriting. Disbursement timing is indicative and not guaranteed.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to KSh 10,000.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice.
